Great bargainNov 05, 2007

I love having these pencils around... never need to be sharpened, great for taking notes, can be used for basic sketching, etc. They're good quality and it's tough to beat the price (especially if you have Amazon Prime and get free shipping),
Cheap Even for a Cheap PencilAug 11, 2008
By melissa We love mechanical pencils. I keep a couple of nice ones, and then a lot of cheap ones that I don't mind losing. We get them from wherever we happen to be: Walmart, Target, office supply stores, or, in this case, amazon as a filler to qualify for free shipping. This particular set of pencils is the worst quality of all our cheap mechanical pencils. The only problem that interferes with the function of the pencil is that the lead only comes out sometimes when you pump the end of the pencil. Other times the lead pushes out and then goes back into the pencil, making the pencil unusable until you get the lead to stay where you want it. Only half of the pencils in the set have this problem. I just tossed the ones that don't work and kept the ones that do.
pretty cheaply madeMay 31, 2008
By bigoil we got these as a filler for a less than $25 order, and you get what you pay for, these are not worth refilling
Inexpensive and perfectMay 20, 2008

I found these pencils to be the equivalent of what I could buy in an office supply store, or at KMart, but with significant savings and fast shipping. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. I bought three!
A little too cheapMay 14, 2008
By Yanwei Jiang It seems they did a little too much trying to save the cost. The tip of these pencils are made of plastic instead of a metal---which makes it very easy to break the refill while writing. Most pencils use a tiny piece of metal tube to surround the refill, now I understand why.
Other part is OK.
